Pastoral Care

The Pastoral Care department of Church of the King exists to reach people and build lives through counseling, prayer, hospital visitation, weddings, funerals and financial assistance.

Counseling

Our pastoral care team is eager to assist you through a Biblically based counseling approach concerning marriage, family, emotional, spiritual and other life challenges. Please fill out the Counseling Request Form to begin the counseling process.

Prayer

In an effort to reach people and build lives, it would be our privilege to pray for any needs you may have. We believe God answers prayer. If you have a prayer need, please fill out the Prayer Request Form.

Visitation

As a member, we offer prayer and support to you while you or your family member is preparing for or recovering from a medical treatment. If you would like someone from of our Pastoral Care Team to visit, please fill out the Visitation Request Form.

Weddings

Church of the King is committed to building healthy marriages through premarital counseling, marriage coaching and pastoral care. This program is available to all church members. To begin the process, please fill out the Wedding Request Form on this page.

Funerals

The death of a loved one can be challenging for anyone. During these difficult times, we can offer assistance to families by providing support, comfort and helping you design a meaningful memorial service. If you need prayer or help planning the memorial service, please call the receptionist at 985.727.7017.

Financial Assistance

Sometimes life can bring hardships that cause unexpected financial emergencies. Support, budget coaching and financial assistance are available for active members of Church of the King. Active membership is determined by enrollment or completion of Pathway classes, consistent weekend service attendance, faithfulness to tithing and small group involvement. If you need help in this area, please fill out the Financial Assistance Request Form.

Church of the King exists to reach people. It is our desire to partner with people who may be in need in an emergency financial situation.
