As you pray, please remember the following points:

  • Pray for their protection: Father, I thank You that You are an ever present help in times of trouble. Keep our soldiers in Your protection, safe from harm. Guard them against sickness and give them sound sleep. Keep them alert and ready for battle.
  • Pray for the families: Lord, please watch over the families of our soldiers while they are apart. Help them to lean upon Your Word, Your people, and Your Spirit. Let them see that You are their Provider and Sustainer in the absence of fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers.
  • Pray that our soldiers and their families would put their trust in God: Lord, we place our trust in Your awesome, powerful name. You love Your sons and daughters even more than we do. You are a good God and we can trust You in the days ahead.
  • Pray for those around our soldiers: Lord, please surround our soldiers with Your children while they are deployed. Guide them in finding someone to pray with, to talk with, and to have as a friend that will help strengthen them in their faith.
  • Pray for bravery and courage: Lord, thank You that you are with our Soldiers wherever they go. Help them to be strong and courageous. Give them supernatural bravery on the battlefield. Lord, help them not to be fearful or discouraged. Keep them from doubt. You are in control.
  • Pray for their safe return: Father, we thank You for our valiant soldiers who are sent out to do a work far from the comforts of home. We ask that just as you provide grace and strength to all those who have put their faith in You, that You would do the same for our loved ones. May they humbly see Your hand upon them and may You bring them home safely.
