All throughout the book of Psalms, we see a relationship between the psalmist David and his God. One can't help but notice the passion and fervor with which David expresses his praise and worship to his Heavenly Father. Psalm 92:1,4 says...
"It is good to praise the LORD and make music to Your name, Oh Most High… for you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands! How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts!"
Knowing and serving Jesus is the main source of joy in our lives. We can know true joy as we express our worship back to Him, whether we are alone or when we come together during the course of our weekend services. Ephesians 5:19 tell us that should sing our praise to God:
"...speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord."
In the Worship & Arts Ministry at Church Of The King, our desire is to lead people into the presence of God by creating an atmosphere in our weekend services in which people can freely express their worship to Him.
