All children entering first through sixth grade are invited on a biblical journey this summer. Mark your calendars now and make plans for your children to attend Church of the King’s 2011 Vacation Bible School, Jonah and the Big Fish, taking place June 6-10 at the Little Creek Campus.
Each day, your kids will relive the life of Jonah, a prophet who was called by God to preach to the Ninevites, a group of people who needed to be restored with compassion. From Jonah’s frustrations, we learn of God’s overwhelming forgiveness for us. Come and learn the story of Jonah as it is presented in a Japanese Kabuki style that is sure to make memories that last a lifetime.
Jonah and the Big Fish takes place daily, June 6-10, from 9am-12pm.
Each child will be part of a small group led by caring small group leaders.
Each morning the children will have the opportunity to worship God through song, drama, and dance! Following the large group session in the morning, each day's schedule will include snack time, game time, Bible adventure, and other great surprises. Throughout the activities, the children will have the opportunity to grow in their understanding of who God is and what it means to believe in Him for themselves.
Registration is $15 per child. A t-shirt and daily snacks are included in the registration cost.
Online registration for Vacation Bible School is closed.
. As part of the registration process a signed Media Release Form must be turned in to the church office.
